Mornington Peninsula Attraction: The Sculpture Park at Pt. Leo Estate
We Got Lucky!
When we planned our visit to Laura at Pt. Leo Estate, we also made sure to include a stroll through The Sculpture Park, the estate’s outdoor art gallery. Luckily, we decided to dine first at Laura and then unwind at The Sculpture Park afterward—turns out, our lunch reservation came with complimentary entrance tickets to The Sculpture Park! That saved us A$30 ($15 per adult), making the experience even more memorable.
As described on their website, The Sculpture Park spans an impressive 330 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, offering a stunning blend of art and nature. With so many sculptures to see, an hour isn’t nearly enough to take it all in. In hindsight, we totally underestimated how much time we’d need to really enjoy this outdoor gallery (especially since, as I mentioned in my previous post, our long lunch at Laura didn’t finish until almost 5 PM). While the weather blessed us with sunny skies, the lack of shade made the warmth a little challenging.
Though I would have loved to capture every sculpture, time was against us as we aimed to be home by 7 PM. Still, here are some of our favourite pieces that left a lasting impression:
