30-day Print-on-Demand Challenge: Week 1

Guess what? I just joined a print-on-demand (POD) challenge last week, and it's been a blast! A few years ago, I tried selling t-shirts on Etsy through Print-on-Demand, but I quickly lost interest after a few months with no sales. This time, though, I'm curious to see how different it might be, especially with others sharing the same journey in the 0-100k course I subscribed to.

The goal of this Print-on-Demand 30-day challenge is to have 30 products posted on our preferred selling platform (e.g., Etsy, Shopify) by the end of June. The focus is on creating multiple offers to sell.

I prioritised finding products fulfilled in Australia to ensure faster delivery times. However, I found that fulfillment centres in Australia through Printful and Printify offer a limited product selection. To address this, I decided to create multiple designs that could be spread across approximately four different products each.

On the first week of the challenge, I have completed the following:

  1. Signed up on Etsy
  2. Signed up on POD platforms: Printful and Printify
  3. Created designs on Canva.
  4. Secured the business name by registering the domain name at GoDaddy: sarcasticallyyours.au
  5. Added designs on 10 products.

Soon, they will be listed on Etsy. Watch the space! 😉

You've probably noticed that all the prints feature everyday sarcastic remarks by working professionals. That's intentional—they're my target niche. ❤️

My dream is for my products to be worn at work, as they maintain a funny, sarcastic, and relatable tone without swearing or being too negative.

What do you think? 🌝
